Dear Members of the Carman Community,
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we address you today. We have recently experienced the loss of five members of our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
In light of these tragic events, it is crucial that we come together as a community to support one another, especially those who have been directly impacted by these losses. We understand that grief can manifest in many different ways and that it is essential to prioritize mental health and well-being during such challenging times.
To that end, we want to inform you of the mental health assistance available through the Togetherall program, which extends support not only to our first responders but to all community members affected by these events.
We encourage anyone who is struggling to cope with the aftermath of these losses to reach out for support. Whether you are experiencing feelings of grief, anxiety, or any other emotional distress, know that you are not alone, and help is available.
Please don’t hesitate to contact the Togetherall to access the support services they offer at https://togetherall.com/en-ca/. Together, we can lean on one another for strength and resilience as we navigate this challenging time.
With heartfelt condolences,
Mayor Brent Owen and Reeve Cor Lodder
