Garbage & Recycling

The Town of Carman uses an automated cart system for collection. Each residence will have three carts – 240L cart for garbage, and 360L carts for recycling and compost.

MWM Environmental Provides commercial garbage and recycling collection in the Town of Carman.

E-waste materials are accepted at Carman Transfer Station during normal operating hours.

Items that can be taken include:

• computer monitors (CRT and flat panel display types)
• desktop computers (CPUs/hard drives, mice, keyboards, cables)
• laptops
• desktop printers
• VCRs
• stereos
• phones
• cell phones
• scanners
• copiers
• fax machines
• rechargeable batteries

There is no cost to dispose of the above items.
